Branislav Jankic was born on December 1st, 1983. in Vukovar, ex Yugoslavia , after the war he moved to Munich Germany, raised all around Europe before moving to Milan while pursuing successful modeling career. Entering fashion arena as a male model wasn’t something Branislav had in mind while growing up around hidden streets of Berlin. Soon after he said goodbye to his modeling days, Branislav started to assist photographic legends Gianpaolo Barbieri and Bruce Weber. His intimate photographic experiments started long before he went public about his ultimate love: photography.
Branislav has shot some of the most memorable fashion images of our time , He blends high fashion concepts with a hint of darkness, seductive beauty , and genuine warmth. One has only to catch sight of Branislav’s Photography to realize his deep passion for his profession. The Dark nature of his DNA draws the inspiration from the atmosphere of Berlin’s subcultures in the early 90’s and creations of cinematic poets such as Pier Paolo Pasolini and Andrei Tarkovsky. he has become one of the best-known fashion photographers, working extensively with magazines like Vogue Hommes Japan, L’Officiel Hommes, Dsection, GQ Style, Interview Russia , Interview Germany and recently show cased his new film “ Hearts of Men “ at new york's fashion week Fall Winter 2012.
